Feature Cut available on the card Sheet metal mainly used when converting solid bodies to plate. When converting, it is used with the operation Insert bends to cut the corners allowing the sheet to be flat.

But today I want to show you more uses, e.g. in furniture design. The only limitation is this, that the cut cannot create a solid split – this must be done with a different command, for example Split.

After marking the edge, use the yellow arrows to select the direction. You can get a one way tab effect, in the other or to the forehead.

attention! By clicking the arrow in the graphics window (1) you can only change directions side to side. If you want a butt excision – you have to use the button Change direction (2) switching repeatedly.

In addition to the possibility of cutting from the inside or outside, G is allowed to enter immediately, which cannot be zero.
