The hole from the wizard is perpendicular in the selected direction

Do you know, that… ?

using hole wizard you can in the tab positions choose 3D sketch. Thanks to this, a hole can be made in a non-lanar wall, whose axis is perpendicular to the plane at that point.

Such an opening is problematic to manufacture, because its axis is rotated in two directions (in this example). If the hole is to be aligned with the parting plane, the axis must be perpendicular to the base. However, the opening cannot be placed on the flat bottom face, only on the top and facing down.

In this case, you cannot select an option 3D sketch. Close the wizard.

Insert a new plane parallel to the posture (dividing planes) and inserted at the same point, which previously defined the center of the hole.

Now run Hole Wizard and in the Positions tab click on a new plane. Because the wizard uses a 2D sketch, the hole will be located on the wall, but aligned normally to the sketch plane.

This solution usually requires the removal of a fragment of the conical wall, which, due to the alignment change, will not be cut automatically.

As you can see, the hole is correctly aligned and can be formed in the injection process.wizard holes
