One of the basic activities performed by the designer is choosing the physical material after designing the part. This can of course be done in the operation tree by clicking Material <indefinite> and I think, that most people use this solution.

However, if you use Property Tab Manager (formerly the Property Tab Generator) to supplement customized properties, you can define a text field by selecting a value [SW-Material].

This will allow you to select material in the tab Custom properties instead of in the design tree.

This method will be perfect for designers, which sometimes forget to define the material, and who use the tab on the right to complete properties. We simply supplement the file information, where one of them is material.
