In the properties window, When defining structural part, There is a tab at the very bottom configurations. This is where you can choose a specific profile type and assign it to the configuration. There are no configurations in this example, Only those at the highest level.
By changing the configuration within the same part, I control the size of the profile.
The limitation in the use of the configuration is the program version. It is only possible from Solidworks 2014, When the profiles are configured, and not saved every separate file.
