I think, that every user has encountered the issue of making a new part based on an existing one from the assembly.
You can edit the part or open in a new window and save. We have three options.
By choosing the first one, the program will create a new part and immediately use it in the assembly, replacing all instances.
We don't always want that.
What then?
In this case, select the command Make yourself independent and save the selected component with a new name.
Difference?
The program has replaced only the selected component in the assembly (occurrence, not all).
