Chain selection in practical application

One of the options available when you right-click on a sketch is Chain selection.

Sometimes, after opening flat formats, we want to create a sheet metal or a regular extrude right away. And here comes the problem, because the sketch does not create a valid closed contour. 3. In converting 3D scans to a surface.
