There are such situations, in which it is impossible to get good “rounding” in the corners. A typical example is a tee – that is, a combination of three elements.
In this case, the best effect is using a surface!
In sequence.
- We create Split line like Projection. I will mark it right away, that in the presented case I am performing on 1/8 model, because it is symmetrical.
- Twice with Boundary surface I create a narrow strip extrude. Including continuity (tangent or continuous curvature) and the length should be set as needed by visual inspection.
- Finally, I connect the surface and fill in the gap Filling the surface with tangency or curvature to all. Of course, if you are working on a fragment of the model, finally, it must be mirrored or patterned.
