Whether you want to translate the column headers before editing the design table?

Do you know, that there is a new solution in SOLIDWORKS 2025 regarding Design table.excel configuration table .

Well, so far it has been like this, that by opening a file with a configuration table created in a different language than this one, in which we open it, it was not possible to edit the table. This means that the file could be opened and it recognized existing configurations, but when closed the table did not update the model (exiting with the last valid version of the table). SOLIDWORKS did not recognize headings in Excel due to the language difference.

If the file was created in the English version and type headers were included: $DESCRIPTION, $COLOUR, $STATE@, $PRP@ and we would open it after changing the SW language to English – there was no topic.

English is the native language, so you can always switch to it and then the table headers would be recognized. But it's not always about English…

If we use SW in Polish and the headlines are in English (or in any other language) – the problem will arise. In fact, I have experienced this many times in various companies, that receive files e.g. from partners from France or China.

We could manually translate the headers to $DESCRIPTION, $COLOR, $STATUS@ or $OWLA etc., but…

From the current version, the program can do this for us.

Dimension names, of course (type D1@sketch2) doesn't explain, only $DESCRIPTION on $DESCRIPTION etc.
