It is possible to turn on the display of dimensions in the second unit. However, it can be done locally for the selected dimension:

or globally (for all dimensions) including in options:

As standard, for dimensions in inches, the second unit is millimeters, and when you dimension in the metric system – the second unit will be inches. I'm talking about the default settings here, which can of course be changed.
