SOLIDWORKS hardware requirements according to the manufacturer

Do you know, that… ?

Every year, when a new version of SOLIDWORKS is released, some people are thinking about replacing the computer. Each subsequent version theoretically needs more resources to run smoothly. In general, the hardware requirements are available on the manufacturer's website: Hardware requirements>>>

So much theory. For example, life shows. to, that a given SW version can be installed on an operating system that is no longer supported. At least once I managed to install SOLIDWORKS in this way and it worked correctly. Currently apparently (I haven't experienced it) message appears during installation about inappropriate hardware.

And if you manage to install the program correctly, it using SOLIDWORKS Rx can check, is everything OK.

I mean graphics in particular, more specifically drivers. They can also be downloaded from the site: https://www.solidworks.com/support/hardware-certification/

but remember, that there are mainly drivers for branded computers, like Dell, Lenovo or HP. So if you have “folding” you may not find the right ones there, certified drivers.
