Do you know, that… ?
Typical spline consists of points, drawing a curve that occurs frequently of complex shape. And what if you want to draw a symmetrical spline?
Drawing using points that can be very difficult, because each point should be inserted symmetrical (fixed dimensions or determined by the relationship retaining symmetry). In addition, each handle section is spline, which should have equal angles and the length of contact.
Meet two solutions to get symmetrical spline.
1. Instead of using the standard spline – select from the dropdown list stylish spline. Draws it using a polyline, which fits the curve. It is not composed of points, so you can get in contact relationship determining the symmetry of individual lines – e.g. with respect to the center line. You can also use the relationship of equality, vertical / horizontal, parallel etc.. The main difference compared to a typical spline is the, that you can instantly add symmetry puntom, but can not add handles spline…There's no handles so the problem is out.
2. I use normal spline, but I draw his half. Then I add a mirror and bounce at the point of contact Contact. In the second step, I select both segments and adapts spline. Functions Fit spline can be found in the Tools menu > Spline tool or the tool bar separately enabled spline.
useful information.
both the typical Splajn You can convert spline style, and stylish glance you can convert Splajn. These options can be found under the right mouse button click on a spline.
