Users can set a number of parameters in the program. Sometimes it is necessary to define certain settings, but it cannot be done in SOLIDWORKS itself, because e.g.. the license has been transferred to another computer.

What then?

Lots of settings (maybe even all of them) is defined in the registry.

attention! All changes to the registry should be preceded by a backup. At the same time, I suggest changes to the registry only as a last resort and only for experienced users.

After running the registry, you should look for: KomputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSOFTWARESolidWorksSOLIDWORKS 2021\Document Templates.

After double-clicking on the selected template, enter / paste a new path.
