Component references are additional references that allow you to identify the same components in different places in the assembly. This applies to both parts and subassemblies. I've written about this before – link below.

Component reference and its use

I'll show you today, how you can change the order of references.

First, click on the assembly under the right button and select Edit component references.

Now you can enter the number in the item, you want to replace. In this example, in cell no 7 I entered the number 1. After click Apply tree order, reference numbers will be swapped.
