In welded structures, you can insert a rib, which is a separate solid body. Reinforcement – because that's what the operation is called, allows you to define the shape, size, position and turn on the chamfer under the weld.

However, many users report a need for a different type of notch, w round form. I even jokingly say, that there is an ideal place for such an additional option.

I will use an operation for this Hole, which is on the card by default sheet metal. Of course, you can add it to the card welded (I did so).

After activating the command, I set the diameter, I drag the center of the hole to the vertex and set the status Until the next one. To be sure, in The scope of the operation I only select the rib object.

This type of undercut can also be made in the form of Library operations. The advantage of this solution is to create the configuration right away (e.g. with sizes) and the possibility of creating any shape of the undercut.
