Do you know, that… ?
There are many useful keyboard shortcuts in SOLIDWORKS. Of course, you can create your own, but today I will introduce an existing shortcut activated with C.
The C key is used for Coiling / Developing operation trees. It is especially useful when editing features in parts or when defining constraints in assemblies. It is also used in drawings.
If you highlight an item on the top level and press the C key – will appear next to the duplicated tree of operations. It is rolled up after pressing C again.
However, if you select the same item and double-click the left mouse button to collapse the tree and then the C key, a shortened scroll bar will appear allowing you to navigate in the tree.
