A conditional equation that suppresses a bond in an assembly

Do you know, that… ?

Equations also apply to assemblies.

Also, equations aren't just for linking parameters, you can use them to manage mates…

E.g.

There is a screw with a binding in the assembly Screw. This binding should only work up to the point of, in which the screw will unscrew from the hole.

Therefore, I am adding an indicative dimension “RD” specifying the distance from the screw head to the contact plane. The equation should be defined in the tab Operation and will have the form of: If (RD – reference dimension is greater than 5, then the bolt bond remains blank, if the distance is not greater – the bond is then reestablished).

In practice, it is as follows: if the screw moves in the hole – The screw binding works – i.e. the screw is twisted. If the screw exceeds a distance of 5mm, that is, it will be outside the opening – the binding is automatically deactivated.
