A method of aligning the source position in a pattern based pattern

Pattern based on pattern in assemblies, it allows you to place a component at a given position and duplicate it with another operation. Most often it concerns two situations – where the controlling operation is another pattern (linear, circular, etc.) or the hole wizard.

If you select a feature from the Hole Wizard as the control operation, then there will be two possibilities:

  • Align to holes – aligns instances with the z operation hole wizard ( and is the default alignment method for new pattern features)
  • Align to Source – aligns instances to the source instance (this is the default alignment method for existing pattern features)

When a different pattern is selected as a control operation, this selection is not.
