Do you know, that… ?
Module welded structures in SOLIDWODKS it can be successfully applied to the design elements of wood. In such a situation, it seems unnecessary to create two configurations: default <machined> and <welded>.
A separate theme is the creation of such configuration in case of welded components actually, but more on that in a moment.
Suppose, that I have a house of wood, which does not have anything welded, So two configurations are redundant. I want to remove welding configuration, but this is still used in the cut list.
It turns out, that after removal of the welded, documentation program automatically uses the configuration as machined.
Since there are always needed such configurations, This can be systemically off:
Of course, the exclusion does not apply retroactively. This should be done before the formation of a part of the first structural member. Such change can be saved in the template to apply in the future.
So why are two standard configurations? I do not really know… Maybe it's possible to create versions before welding and after welding. But why, then, documentation configuration is used welded? Welded or connected, and yet all components are listed objects. If anyone knows the sensible answer – eager to meet her.
