In the package Premium SOLIDWORKS has two add-ons at our disposal, that can be used together. I mean SOLIDWORKS Motion (for kinematics and motion calculations) and SOLIDWORKS Simulation – for static calculations.
If you want to export data from a motion study for strength calculations – you can do it from the level Motion (1). Of course Simulation must be enabled in add-ons.
Then you must specify select assembly components, select a time period and define grid settings.
After doing the calculations, the results appear in the operation tree in the appropriate directory. A fact deserves attention, that even though it is a static study, you can start playback and observe the change in stress during movement.
