Do you know, that… ?
One of the possibilities of dimensioning details in drawings is the use of DimXpert. In this operation you can choose: dimensioning in polar coordinates or linear dimensioning.
I will now focus on the first method.
Dimensioning in polar coordinates ideally suited to the dimensioning of flanges or other elements with holes arranged around the circumference.
After selecting this dimensioning option, the base should be indicated – it can be the vertex or the center of the hole / cylinder.
Then you click one hole in the graphics window, and you're done.
If the holes do not align with the layout, in a vertical or horizontal sense, you can rotate the coordinate system.
Another application example.
