If you want to show the profile of the pipe or any other metallurgical profile, You can use the command The removed section. The operation allows you to do cross-section and apply it on the profile in order to better illustrate the shape.

Simply select two references – edges and set the angle (in manual mode).

The resulting cross-section can be “levy” the geometry of the source using Align or manually.
