In the documentation, the default mode is used, Hidden Lines Removed (ULU) visible on the left. However, sometimes for the better illustrate the need to show hidden edges. In a more complex assemblies that figure obscures – This shows the image on the right.

The solution might be to include options Show hidden edges selected part (or object) in the properties view.
