The task is to connect two fragments of the coil, which are arranged at a certain angle.
Both fragments constitute Bring it on, between which a gap is left.
The challenge is to make a smooth transition between both fragments.
Method 1.
The fastest, the simplest, but generating the largest deviations.
It involves drawing with spline a link between the existing ones Helisami. To make it possible, we turn it on earlier 3D sketch, we convert Helix and only now we connect both ends by adding a relation Tangents.
Method 2.
It is an improved form of the above method. From sketches (circles) On the phone I pull out the surfaces and each other I'm trimming. I draw a connector on the created object Spline on the surface. So it is also a form of 3D sketch, and we have certainty, that the sketch lies on a cylindrical face.
Method 3.
In this case I use two 2D sketches drawn on different planes. One corresponds to a section of the cylinder, the second one is a link between the Helixes. Additionally, it has a relationship that allows for a smooth transition.
Then we apply throw a curve > Sketch sketch. Ready.
