When sketching in SolidWorks can show grid.
The mesh turns on the menu View or by transparent display.
Whether, if the grid is visible or not, holding down SHIFT key while drawing you can force snap to grid. This symbolizes the miniature dimension of the cursor.
Grid Settings define the document properties.
