Do you know, że… ?
During training and not only meet the question, how to show in part documentation the QTY. (part quantity) from assembly. It turns out, that it is not a simple matter. You can find different solutions to this topic on the internet.
I'll show you my way.
Let's start with that, why is it not easy. Because, that the component can (although it does not have to) be used in multiple assemblies. So if someone wants to show, how many pieces of this component are included in the assembly, to trzeba odpowiedzieć – which submission.
Therefore, after making a drawing from a part, I have to place the assembly somewhere, in which this part is used.
So I insert an assembly and a bill of materials BOM outside the sheet. To illustrate, I have put four parts Terminal Strips in the assembly.
Now I add balloon associated with that part of the assembly, selecting as link text Quantity. At the same time, in the settings I choose None instead of the default circular.
Next I'm inserting a note calling her whatever, e.g. quantity, number of instances, QTY. etc..
ATTENTION! You cannot leave a note next to the visible number 4, gdyż po ukryciu tabeli oraz widoku złożenia znajdującego się obok arkusza – liczba 4 would disappear.
Therefore, in editing the note, I click on the number 4, thus linking the note to the number of instances of the assembly. However, this is one note!
Now hide the assembly view and the bill of materials table, this will automatically hide the number 4 resulting from the reference.
You can of course add new sheets or replace the component and after moving the balloon (need to show hidden view before) the number of occurrences will change.
