In some cases, you can select a Boundary Surface instead of a Sweep. The classic sweep sweeps a profile sketch over another sketch or edge, forming a path.
As long as we do not select any additional settings related to alignment in the options, twisting, etc.. then we can safely use Boundary Area. In the Direction field 1 select a profile or path, a in the Direction field 2 depending on what has already been selected, second reference (jeżeli wybrano ścieżkę – wybierz teraz profil lub odwrotnie).
What are the advantages of this alternative solution? You can modify the extrude width by using grips, no need to shorten the profile.
